Your role:

  • As a Tech Lead (m/f/d) in the SRE & Cloud Platform team, you will take strategic responsibility for key technologies such as Google Cloud, GitHub, CI/CD, Cloudflare, and Datadog
  • In close collaboration with other product teams, you will drive the continuous development of our platform
  • You will support our engineering teams in enhancing stability and performance through observability and architectural guidance
  • You will be responsible for the stable operation of a core component of our online shop on GKE
  • You will lead and develop an 8-person team through coaching and code reviews, fostering a culture of excellence
  • As an active member of the Tech Lead community, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and ways of working

Your profile:

  • A successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar field, or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience as a Tech Lead (m/f/d), Lead Engineer (m/f/d), or Engineering Manager (m/f/d)
  • Excellent knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, DevOps principles, and cloud infrastructures (preferably GCP)
  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
  • An empathetic leader with strong communication and moderation skills, as well as the ability to persuade and take ownership
  • Excellent English skills are required; good German skills are a plus
